Sepenu
Perez is an Obstetrician Gynaecologist with research interest in Obstetric Nephrology. He graduated from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and also the West Africa College of Surgeons. He currently works in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, the biggest Teaching hospital in Ghana.
He had his medical school training with the University of Ghana Medical School, subsequently having extensive work experience with the Ridge Hospital (now Greater Accra Regional Hospital) and the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was part of the pioneering team that set up the first multidisciplinary unit for the management of Stroke patients in Ghana and also in the Renal Unit where he developed a deep passion for the management of Obstetric Renal cases and has decided to devote his life to research to improve their care. He draws this resolve from his experiences in the UK where he saw how indigenous research improves care of patients.
